Just booked my car in first it's first service and nissan want £179 for checking next to nothing.

MG charge about £30 or there about. Or they did last time I checked with a colleague of mine.

Have you considered a maintenance plan? I got it in Spain for 6 years for about 700€, you save a lot of money.

Might have to, but there taking the Mick fir the checks they aren't going to do.

More concerning is they when they typed my reg in, the asked is it petrol or diesel. Lol.

So that’s my first service done today . £179 for an air filter and screen wash . Okay they did take the four wheels off to check brakes . I know some of you guys had a nightmare with your cars , but I have to say that apart from new steering wheels and preheat alarm problem it’s 8,500 miles of hassle free motoring . That’s including around a 1000 miles towing a caravan . Hope that’s a good sign for the next years ownership.
