Good morning all

just looking for some advise on the real world mileage of the Ariya Evoke 63kw with sports pack, just looking at what I can expect both in winter and in summer? Also, most of my driving is motorway and usually between 65-70mph. Appreciate any data on this.

That specific Ariya configuration (small battery with 20 inch wheels) and that usage scenario (motorway at high speeds) gives a very unfavorable range.
You should expect around 200 miles on summer and about 150 miles in winter under those conditions.

250 miles is possible on a small battery Ariya but only with the more favorable configuration and conditions.

Thanks for the reply Cosmyc. Is there a economical speed that should be stuck to when driving on a motorway? I know weather conditions have a varied impact, however, like a ICE engine it would be stated at around 60mph would be most efficient.

55mph is the sweet spot for aerodynamics in a EV (or 60mph at the most sacrificing a little bit of range).

On real metrics by others users at ~13⁰C temps (neither full winter or full summer) they are getting 215 miles at 55mph and 145 miles at 75mph with the 20 inch wheels, if fitted with 19 inch aero wheels (along with their associated narrower tires) you could add around 10-25 extra miles depending on speed.

So 250 miles is only possible at 55mph, 25⁰C in good summer and 19 inch wheels with proper narrower efficient tires, which is best case scenario.

I live in Canary Islands, Spain which is nearly summer all year and I have the big battery and 19 inch ones, driving daily at 55mph I'm getting 335 miles aprox each charge, again, best case scenario.

Thanks Cosmyc, this is real valuable data. My regular drive to head office is 127miles from Cardiff where they have 22kw chargers on site, I plan on charging there whilst working and getting back home. As it's a company car I will be charging to 100% so the journey is well within the range at 65mph what i normally drive at.

Well you're Golden then. I would only be worrying about exceeding the speed limit.
