I haven't found much difference in milage gains yet, but the breaking dynamics change. Less progressive to more off/ on type breaking. Each gave there advantages.

At first I didn't like the engineered sluggish response to the throttle. Once you accept this is what stops you from being er brisk in your progress to save the battery you soon get used to the regen and its braking effects. It can become a reasonably relaxing way to drive. I particularly like using it on B type roads. Don't really see the point on Motorways, I would rather have a more rapid response on those.
