Is anyone aware of reports of the charging port door cover falling off ? Not the black hinge part, more the body coloured visible piece that fits onto the hinge mechanism.
Mines fell off in Jan and I never found it. Dealer inspected the hinge mechanism and found no issue so had to pay for a full replacement which included the hinge mechanism and door panel painted to body colour. Fast forward a few months and when closing the door, it literally came off in my hand. Thankfully I didn't lose it this time.
I can't help but think there is a design flaw here. I don't slam it closed or anything like that, always nice and gently when opening and closing it. So for the same thing to happen twice seems a bit of a co-incidence.
I've raised complaint with lease company who spoke to Nissan and they want me to take it back for a further inspection to understand if its a manufacturing/design issue.

Just read you post with regards to you charge port door jus came home from a weekend break only to find mine was missing
. Checked the main part of door looks like it slides on and one of the locking plastic bit holding the door is fractured so i will be contacting the manufacturers tomorrow and the leasing company to show them your post.
