Re: 12v battery discharge again

I've been reading this thread with interest. My 12-volt battery died suddenly without warning on 19 November 2023. I left the car for a few hours and then mysteriously it all started working again. The car's been into the dealership subsequently for 2 software updates (inverter and alarm), and annua...

Ariya failed to start - headlight system fault

TL;DR version My 63kWh Ariya Advance has developed several faults in recent weeks and I'm now worried about driving it anywhere in case it decides not to start when I get back in it. Longer version So after 9 months without experiencing any faults, they're now coming thick and fast! Firstly, the la...

Re: Picked up Ariya today!

My charging issue resolution was that there was a faulty part put in the original wall box installation - a load management control part. It wasn’t the car but only manifested itself when Ariya charging sought more amps than the PHEV. Fixed by wall box monitoring company remotely removing load mgt ...

Re: If I order an Ariya now, how long do you think I will be waiting?

Hi everybody, I have a 63 advantage on order, which has just been put back to April 2023. I ordered at the then cost of £41500 in UK. I decided to pay for the upgrade to charge speed (7kW to 22kW). However, the dealer thinks I may have to cancel the order and place a new order at the new price of a...

Re: Back to the dealer – quite a few niggles and issues

I have an Advance so don’t have auto park. I’ve only use Pro Pilot a few times and agree it’s not perfect so much so that I don’t bother with it and will reserve it for long motorway journeys. The car is so much more enjoyable to drive than my old manual ICE car that the need to use Pro Pilot for da...

Re: Ariya Enhanced Service Plan

I’ve taken out a 2 year plan £13 per month covers 2 services. As @ashleycarr says, they’ve got you over a barrel really as for the warranty you need to get it serviced and the price of that is bound to go up - if not for the first service then almost certainly by the time I get to the second one. Th...

Re: Picked up Ariya today!

Hi @RamblyRunner, regarding the Zap Zap app, we’re in Ireland, it covers here but a subscription wasn’t mentioned when collecting my Ariya this week. Was it Nissan UK or the garage promoting and paying for the Zap Zap Premium ? Free version of the app is ok. Apologies for the delay replying I don’t...

Re: Is Ariya's boot big enough for a large dog to travel long distances in comfort?

This might not be much help as my dog is an English Cocker Spaniel so not large, however I had 2 cockers until recently and they both fitted comfortably with room to spare in my dog crate I used in my previous car. The same crate is now fitting in the Ariya, with plenty of room to spare and if I too...
