Does your alarm go off when you preheat the cabin remotely???? I presume not living in the sunny canary’s . I was told there were two software installs available one for alarm triggering ! And one for steering wheel sensitivity !

Yip …..got the call a couple of days ago . Booked in dealer on 23rd April .

I haven’t had the alarm update as the dealer told me a tech bulletin had been emailed to him not to carry out anymore updates as it could damage the body control module ……he gave me the bulletin number as I have an open case with Nissan customer service .

I was told that the update that was supposed to fix cabin pre heat alarm issues caused issues with the body control unit !!!!

Too much of a control freak to let someone else wash my car ……easy done yourself!!!!

I’ve been trying to get mine fixed for a long time …..had the wiring re-routed ( NO JOY ) was in for recall software update but the the ev tech was not qualified for the alarm software update !!! Took it to another dealer who called me yesterday to say a TECH BULLETIN had been emailed to him asking ...

Not sure dealers would be that bothered about making a few comments on a forum !!!! But what the heck do I know . All I can say is my car has behaved impeccably from day one ….sorry to hear about the others who seem to generate so many faults and niggles
