Re: 12v battery discharge again
Just taken my car in for the inverter update. Whilst there I asked about using a jump start battery. They stated that they do not recomend it, but should rather used the RAC subscription . They also stated that using the 12V lithium ion battery to try and jump the car could scramble the software. Ha...

manual for infotainment
Hi Everybody, I read in the main manual that there was an extra paper manual for the "infotainment" system. It says to order it from your deal. Thought I'd give it a go.. The dealer had not heard of this but the chap in the parts department said he would follow up. low and behold, two week...

Re: automatic door lock
Hi Everybody,
Thanks for the help.
What I was looking for was:-
Vehicle Speed Sensing Door Lock Mechanism - Page 185 of the manual.
Tried following the instructions on the page but nothing happened.
Had this feature on our last two cars, useful when my wife was driving alone.
Thanks for the help.

automatic door lock
Hi everybody, need a bit of advice.
Want to activate the automatic door locking feature (above 5 mph, I think.
The manual explains how to do it - if the feature is fitted.
I've tried the instructions to no avail.
Its an Advance 63.
Does anybody with this model have this feature working?
Thanks

Re: Unlock charger
Thanks for looking Milkfloat. I think I must have a rare and valuable misprinted manual, bit like a stamp with the king's head printed upside down! Think I'll put it safely in my Swiss bank account vault. Oh, wait, I haven't got one of those. Is there a member who has just taked delivery? If so, is ...

Here is a mention of a paper manual for the satnav etc.
I've asked my Nissan dealer for a copy but no reply as yet.

Re: Auto Hold and Brake lights
Thanks for everybody's comments.
I suppose I'm just harking back to the "old days" when the highway code used to be into neutral and handbrake on whilst waiting at lights so as not to ride the break pedal.
What will they think of next, flying cars?
Really love the car by the way.

Re: Auto Hold and Brake lights
Thanks Milkfloat - I'll have a look at that setting and also try the speed limiter to see what happens. Not today though - snowing like mad here today!
