Re: Poor delivery updates?
Engage is one of the models. There are a couple of bits and bobs that I didn't mention but the logic absolutely applies. The UK market is many times that of the Canary Islands so manufacturers can be more speculative. There may be a little more problem with the very rare additions but the mainstream...

Re: Poor delivery updates?
Cars from the Far East have very limited options compared to locally built models. For the Ariya, after model and colour, throw in 22kW charging and a sun roof, keep a few 20" wheels in stock and that's about it. After 2 years of sales, Nissan have a good statistical read on sales by variant so...

Re: Battery!
If you like e-pedal then fine, stick with it. I don't use it because of the way it dulls the driving experience.

Re: Battery!
Paulie10, 2.8m/kWh is definitely a poor number. Is it increasing now that ambients are warming? A few things to look at; 1. Make sure that tyre pressures are at recommended level. 2. Try using B instead of D. To do that, just pull the drive selector back a second time (it will cycle back to D if pul...

Re: New to Ariya Advance
I started calculating just as you suggest but then with real data, I switched to time/%SOC. It depends on your mains voltage, charger type etc. but will be in the order of 7.1minutes/%SOC. I find it easier as your 30% simply becomes 213 minutes.

Re: New to Ariya Advance
Best of luck with the car. It is easy to drive and live with; you can put the steering effort into sport mode without using the overall sport setting which I dislike. I find this better than the default steering effort setting. Apart from the continuing software niggles, my only complaints are with ...

Re: It's that battery again.....
I have never got to grips with the logic for the 12 volt battery in my Ariya. Lead acid battery chemistry does have some detailed variations but the ordinary low-cost unit is fully charged at circa 13.6 volts, is 50% charged at about 12 volts and is flat at 11.0 volts. If I check mine, it generally ...

Re: Battery!
For battery life, it is very much recommended that you only charge to 100% SOC if you really, really need it. Similarly, only discharge below 10% if you absolutely have to. Conservatively, for normal use, the recommendation is that you operate between 20 and 80% SOC. I personally push mine harder th...
